A Must Have Wedding Flower Checklist
By Matthew J Stine
First let's start out by saying that this is the bride and groom's big day and they are to be the main attention of the wedding event. With that being said one thing that makes a wedding event special is wedding flowers with which show the love and devotion of the wedding party.
Now we to know the setting of the wedding, will it be relaxing backyard of will it be a formal setting in a ballroom or luxury hotel. Another important step is to set your spending budget which in most cases is 10% to 14% of the total wedding budget for wedding flowers. If you can find pictures of centerpieces, bouquets or corsages from varies bridal magazines will help you get ideas and will help your florist a better understanding of what you are looking at for wedding flowers.
What you need on your checklist when picking a florist:
Numbers of wedding events performed
Pictures of past wedding event
Names and numbers of past clients
Will the florist work with your ideas and offer improved ideas
Must you put down a deposit
What kinds of payment does the florist take
Will they deliver the wedding flowers
Can the order be canceled
Fill free to add any other items to the checklist that you think you may need. After all this is your wedding day and it needs to be special for you and yours. I hope this helps make your wedding day less stressful and I wish the best to you and yours.
