How To Plan The Perfect Bridal Shower Are you planning a bridal shower for a relative, friend, or co-worker? Unsure exactly where to begin? Since this is one of the fun lead-up events to the wedding , you want to make sure that the bridal shower is perfect. Here are some tips to help you with your planning.

Tip # 1: Set a Budget. A bridal shower can range from inexpensive to the very pricey. It all depends on your location and number of guests. Be sensible the bridal shower should not cost as much as the wedding.

Tip #2: Pick a theme. A theme will help set the mood of the bridal shower party and even impact the gifts. Choose a different theme, something your guests not have seen, or don't expect, but be sure it is something the bride will love. You'll likely have ideas of your own, but here are some include hosting a personal(lingerie) shower, a gift basket shower, or a shower centered around a season or room of the house. Since the theme will create excitement and interest be sure to tie your theme into everything you do.

Tip #3: Choose a location. It does not matter whether you choose a restaurant, fancy hotel, or someone’s home for the location of the bridal shower. Your location should not only reflect your theme, but also should match the bride's personality and your budget.

Tip #4: Send The Invites. Picking the right bridal shower invites depend on the size of your budget as well as the theme of the shower. You can buy simple invites from the store, or you can order some fancy ones from a printer, or print your own invites using a computer program. No matter which invites you choose, be sure to get them out in early so that your guest will have ample amount of time to request off from work or get a baby-sitter.

Tip #5: Plan A Great Menu. When planning the bridal shower menu, keep in mind the time of your party. Your shower menu can make or break your party, so be sure to have a spectacular menu. A spectacular menu does not necessarily mean that you have to hire an expensive caterer. You can prepare the menu yourself. Just be sure that the food is great and that you have plenty of it.

Tip #6: Pick The Perfect Bridal Shower Games. Silly games are an essential part of any good bridal shower. The naughtier, the better! But be sure that the bride is ok with the games you are planning. Here are a few of examples:

Stuff It: Sit down with the groom, before the shower, and ask him a list of questions. It will be more interesting if you ask questions that the bride may not know. Once the party begins, pass the questions around the room to your guest, having each lady ask the bride one question. If the bride gets it wrong then she must stuff a piece of bubble gum in her mouth. The whole room will be laughing as her answers become messy. Stud Muffin: Buy some balloons. Now get a picture of the groom and some other sexy, hunky men. Roll the each picture up tight and tie with a ribbon or put a rubber band. Place one picture into each balloon and blow up. Have each woman to grab a balloon and pop it. Whoever gets the grooms picture wins!

Tip #7: Party Favors. Now reward all your guest with a gift. You can make up little gift bags and place small item inside. Everyone likes to get presents and the guests of your bridal shower are no different. When you deciding on what party favors to give be sure to put a lot of thought and a little bit of money into the favors that you give to the guests. Provide your guests with fun favors that tie into the shower theme. The perfect way to end the party is by giving gifts to the guests, who are sure to appreciate it. Besides the point of giving favors is for your guests to leave with a small reminder of this fun and unique event.

Tip #8: Thank You List. The bride will be expected to send thank you notes to all of the bridal shower guests who gave gifts. So while the bride is opening her presents, prepare a thank you list of all the guest who gave and what they gave so that she will know who to thank them later.
