Important Information That Should be on Every Bridal Invitation
While you may know that the
bridal shower should be thrown anywhere from three months to
two weeks before the actual wedding date, you may not know
exactly what to put on the bridal invitations and what not
to; in this article we will explore exactly what information
should go on your bridal invitations.
Now that you have picked your theme, picked out your bridal
invitations and you now need to mail them out and in order
to do that, you need to know exactly what information should
go on them. For instance, did you know that in most
countries bridal invitations do no include the registry
information? Well, of course, it is your bridal shower and
you can include it if you wanted to, but some countries do
not.
Moving onto the actual information that should be on your
bridal invitations; firstly the name of the person throwing
the bridal shower should be clearly listed in the bridal
invitation. Many of the guests that are invited may not know
this person so be sure that you give their full name and
their phone number for RSVP purposes.
Next, the name of the future bride should be clearly written
in the bridal invitation, while this may seem extremely
silly, some people know too many people to count and they
may have another bridal shower to go for. Be sure that the
guests know exactly who the future bride is, so putting
their full name is a good idea.
The bridal shower date, time and address should all be
clearly visible to the guest and if the location is complex
to find, go ahead and include a map with the bridal
invitations. RSVP date should be clearly written along with
any shower theme information that you think the guests
should know about. For instance, if it is a black and white
tie bridal shower, be sure to note that on the bridal
invitation. Also, a great idea to throw in is the couple’s
decorating colors for their future homes, this will inspire
all sorts of gifts that will match their new house
perfectly.
There you have it – all of the wording and information that
should go on any bridal invitation; just be sure to keep
your bridal showers theme in mind when you are picking out
the bridal invitations and be sure that whoever writes up
the bridal invitations has very good and clear hand writing.
