Personalized Bridal Invitations!
When it comes to being the
maid of honor, you do not just inherit the responsibility of
walking down the aisle first and meeting the brides every
need, you also have the responsibility of not only
personalizing but also sending out the bridal invitations.
Well, it may seem like a great deal of work but honestly,
one of the hardest parts about throwing the bridal shower
and sending out the bridal invitations is coming up with a
theme for the bridal shower.
One of the biggest complaints from brides is that their
bridal showers are not unique enough and that their maids of
honors need to think up more original ideas. One of the
greatest and most fun themes that more and more bridal
showers are based around is a lingerie theme. This is
definitely only for the girls and it is usually based in the
evening hours. When throwing this type of bridal shower it
is always fun to encourage the guests to wear their favorite
and appropriate sleepwear. The basic idea of lingerie is to
feel luxurious and sexy so be sure to convey that theme
throughout the evening, starting with bridal invitations
that are lingerie themed!
Another great theme for the bridal invitations is the
‘around the house’ theme. This is a great theme for a bridal
shower and your bridal invitations could be handmade to save
you some money! Basically, the theme to this bridal shower
is to get the bride and groom everything they would need for
around the house. This could be anything from the kitchen
all the way up to the bedroom. The bridal invitations could
be made into little houses and printed up on your computer.
Another great theme is the ‘around the clock’ theme, this is
more centered around the presents versus the bridal
invitations, but the invites could be one big clock with all
of the bridal shower information on it. The concept of this
theme is that each guest gets the bride and groom something
for their assigned time – for instance, if you are assigned
eight o’clock in the morning, you should get them a present
for the morning time such as a toaster, or a frying pan for
eggs.
So as you can see there are many different ways to
personalize your bridal shower and keep the bridal
invitations personalized as well, it is not difficult to
customize the bridal invitations, all it takes is some
creativity and a theme for the bridal shower to follow!
