Bridal invitations are some
of the most beautiful invitations in the world and they are
some of the most important as well, although the bride
herself does not pick them, in this article, we will explore
some of the dos and don’ts of picking out bridal
invitations.
While there are many, many different choices of bridal
invitations, the bride herself is not normally involved in
the bridal invitation picking out. The maid of honor and the
bride’s maids are usually the people that throw the bridal
shower and therefore they are the ones that usually get to
pick out the bridal invitations.
A few points to keep in mind when you are picking out bridal
invitations are: remember that even though you are throwing
the bridal shower, it is for the bride, so add some
personality of her in there. Remember to stick to the theme
of the bridal shower as well – you do not want to send a

shower is going to be cool and casual.
When it comes to themed bridal showers, if you are going
with something like a beach theme, or maybe a gothic theme;
make sure that you match all of your bridal invitations to
the theme. There are many different options you could go
with if you are throwing a beach bridal shower. Anything
from seashells all the way to little umbrellas could be
included in the bridal invitations. If you are planning a
gothic bridal shower, there are so many things you could do
for the bridal invitations it is crazy!
For instance, you could decorate them in blood red and black
– lace is always a popular option and of course the script
of the bridal invitations should be very cryptic and strange
looking. Bridal invitations are the first peek your guests
get to have of what type of wedding you are going to have,
so be sure that you get some bridal invitations that not
only match the theme of the bridal shower, but also the
theme of the entire wedding.

bridal shower theme, that they have some of the bride’s
personality in it and finally that they are great looking
